We are in Beijing! We arrived at our hotel about 5:30 pm today, a full 24 hours after we left home! China is 13 hours ahead of home. We had a good trip---nothing eventful, and were able to go out to eat a Peking Duck dinner tonight. At the end of dinner, a HUGE rainstorm hit and we had to run like crazy. We stopped at the Supermarket to get water bottles to brush our teeth in. I will post some pictures in a minute--the internet connection is GREAT--I am actually in my room, but I am having trouble since my adaptor is for a 2 prong plug and mine is 3 prong...hopefully we can fix that tomorrow!
Dad, the terminal was HUGE and long--we taxied for forever! I have some pictures too. Alex, Ben and Jack, there is all kinds of signs and preparations for the Olymoic games--you would be so excited. There were also a lot of little dogs walking with the owners on the street, just like home!
Tomorrow is sight seeing day, and should be busy. Sunday we go to the Great wall and then fly to Hohhot where we actually play with the kids---yea!
Miss you all...thank you for your prayers!
Love,
Eve

It is wonderful that you made it in good order. The pictures are great. Your journey is well under way. The boys appears to be having a great time with the grandparents, and Sadie is enjoying some extra attention in everyone's absence. If you were wondering, the leg is better...nearly full speed again. The driveway looks spectacular; Mr. Moore did a great job. E-mail when you have a chance; I look forward to hearing from you. Love, William.
