Guest Post from Jack

I  think China is good.  I have my baby sister.  I like to go swim in the pools.  I like playing with Florie and making her laugh.  I love FLorie.  She screams and she laughs.  I like her a lot.I like our Marriott hotel right now.  I have learned about the bronze drums in Guangxi province and how they were made.
now i am done and going swimming.

China is very different from America.  I am so used to having purified water...it is has been hard to remember not to use the sinks to brush our teeth.  There are so many high rise apartment buildings and skyscrapers.  there are lots of people on motorbikes and bicycles, and the traffic rules are SO different here.
Florie is sometimes happy and sometimes sad, but mostly happy.  When she is sad, it is usually when we separate mom and dad....when she is happy is every other time.  She is very playful and loves to laugh.  She really enjoys her karate chopping the couch and then Ben and I fall possum on the bed.
I really miss my friends and family back in America.  And My dogs.

That is it...Alex

Guest Post from Ben

I really like China because there are a lot of famous places that I get to go to like the Terracotta Soldiers.  Another reason is because of Florie.  We have had Florie for 5 days and she has been happy.  The first day we got her she was really brave.  I play with her a lot because she laughs alot and once I copied her it made her laugh a lot.   Like she says Duh Duh and then I copy her in a funnier voice and she laughs!!!
Chinese people are different because they speak a different language and they do different things.  They eat things that are a little gross to me and they have good food like the Chinese donut.
I hope you are all well.  Tomorrow we will go to a new hotel.

Till later,
Ben

Guangxi Museum Day

Florie had a great night last night----11 hours of sleep :)  The boys did better, except for my lil' man....but hopefully that will change tonight.  She woke up in a great mood and ate a good breakfast.  Some of the pics below are at the Marriott breakfast. She loves for the boys to walk around with her. The only problem we have is that she only has two hands instead of three!
we went to the Guangxi Provincial Museum today and learned a lot about the 12 minorities in Guangxi.  It was pretty fascinating. I think the boys learned a lot.....then we went with our guide to lunch and finally had a great meal....for all of us!  We all took short naps this afternoon....Florie really hard a hard time before nap.....calling for her ayi....but she wanted william to hold her, and fell asleep on him.  it is so hard to watch her, but we are so thankful she was so well loved.  The Beihai orphanage/Half the Sky does an amazing job!
Right now it has been raining hard for about 6 hours.  William has Alex and jack swimming, and Ben stayed here to play with Florie.  She has been laughing hysterically at him as he is copying her. She is talking to him!  She is also feeding him cheerios...blowing on them first in case they are hot.  She is making every noise he makes.  It is so sweet to watch. I have it on our video camera...just have to figure out how to put it on here!
Our guide just called..she has all of Florie's paperwork/passports for us in the lobby...so I have to run!

Woo Hoo!
Love,
Eve
