Scenes from the summer palace---it was amazing and beautiful. We have had several architecture lessons that I will share when I get home! William, the DRAGON BOAT races in Nashville will hopefully be a bit smaller--we rode on this boat boys! There is a picture of Shannon, and with teh water view you can see the Buddhist temple up on the hill.

So great to read your blog and see that you are doing so well! Sounds like the flight went well and now that you are there you're probably not going to want to leave! I will definitely be praying for the orphangage trips and the interaction with the kids there. I'm so thankful that you are able to serve God in this way! Keep up the great posts! emily
Dearest Mommy, it is Saturday, we have fed the loud birds and walked the shoreline, and now, I even recognize landmarks across the bay. I like being at Sugar's. I look forward to seeing your daily pictures of you. We are going to church tomorrow, and then possibly, the USS Alabama battleship. Love always, Alex.
