Have I Not Commanded You?
Be Strong and Courageous.
Have I Not Commanded You?
Be Strong and Courageous.
Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged,
For the Lord your God will be with you
Wherever, wherever, wherever you may go! Joshua 1:9
This is one of the songs we learned at VBS last week. My 5 year old Ben LOVED it as we had hand motions and got faster EVERY time we did it! I loved it and will be saying it OVER and OVER as we leave in the morning! Our supplies are packed, my bags are packed (pretty much), my boys are all enjoying wonderful one on one time with grandparents, and William and I are headed out soon to a wonderful dinner to celebrate our recent 12th anniversary! I cannot make anyone more lists, or I will not be able to consider myself environmental anymore!
As much as we talk about preparation for this trip, and being brave, this trip is also "done" by our families, their sacrifices, and their bravery. My husband has done SO much to help me with this trip, from pushing me to start the ministry at church, to getting a computer for me to take, to NEVER complaining when I decided to go on this trip even though it is a big sacrifice for him! I cannot thank him enough! And, my in-laws, my Dad, and my Mom are all pitching in to take care of my boys---each grandparent has one child for almost a week and have all changed their routines to help me go on this mission trip. I could not do it without William and the grandparents! AND, my beautiful boys are all being BRAVE and COURAGEOUS to leave home for a bit and have so much fun away! I am so proud of them, and will look forward to seeing them on June 30th! Without their cooperation, this trip would not be possible. So, although I talk about ME and my calling for orphans, it is a TEAM effort at the Boger house!
We leave early in the morning, and will hopefully post everyday! Please pray for our trip, and safety!
Love,
Eve
