Good morning!

Good morning! We slept pretty well, although the beds are the right size for ME but not for anyone else. The weather is 75 degrees but the humidity and smog make it feel like 100! We had a fantastic breakfast....rice and beans, eggs (yes, Alex....eggs :( ). We even had coffee. Today we head to Tiennamen Square, the Summer Palace, by Forbidden City, and then we are riding rickshaws on a tour. We will see some of the mansions where princes of the Forbidden City used to live, and will also visit a "normal" family who hosts us for tea. There are MANY Americans here, and most of them are in high school or middle school. They are here for a orchestra tour, or acrobatic tour. We do stand out at all--no oneeven turns their head to look at us! I am sure that will be different in Hohhot. I am still trying to find an adaptor for my computer--the battery is 1/2 gone now.
Alex and Sugar, thank you for the post! I am happy to hear about your fun day and I miss you both! William, I love you and am glad your leg is better--I hope rugby was fun. Ben and Jack--Mommy loves you!
