Guangzhou Day 2

Today we had Florie's medical exam....she had a bumpy night as she has developed a cold....sometimes she is FINE with just a runny nose, but other times she needs extra TLC and is pretty unhappy when she coughs.  normal two year old stuff.  William is also not feeling well, so he stayed home with the boys while I took Florie for her medical. We lucked out with the holiday in China today, and were the only ones there for the physical. It took 15 minutes total.  She weighs 11 kg, and is 32. 5 inches tall.  She got a clean bill of health, and thanks to the vaccine bill recently passed, she did NOT have to get any shots!  Woo Hoo!
Elvin our guide came back to the hotel and we finished all of our paperwork for our early morning consulate appointment.  (we have to leave the hotel at 7!5 am!!).  Afterwards, I took the boys to swim and William and Florie took a nap.  It was needed for both of them!  We walked around a bit, and found Jennie and Sherry's place (thanks Joy for the tip :)) and bought shoes for Florie. She was very excited :)
It was a pretty quiet, peaceful day. We have ordered Papa John's for the boys for dinner, and are about to get everyone ready for bed....early morning.  Florie continues to thrive and seems to enjoy all of us...she is a happy girl and is very sweet and loving..and tough. A perfect fit, I would say!
Stefanie, I am picking up your painting later for Maggie....
Michelle, did you still need a purse?

Hope everyone is well. Not many pics today since it was mainly me carrying her:)

Love,
Eve

Nothing beats a personal shopper in another country! Thanks for doing that. What size clothes and shoes does she wear? Praying William and Florie feel better quickly.

Hi, I missed your posts over the weekend...we were in LR. But loved catching up this am! So glad y'all are in GZ! I wanted to tell you that we also liked Jordan's and the place that sells the artwork...its a charitable place. Oh and then A Gift From China is another charitable store, has really neat stuff that no one else has. This is where I got E's backpack/diaper bag and the boy's PJ's Also where I got your scripture chopsticks. There are chinese Christian things there! So sorry to hear Florie & William aren't feeling well. Hope they quickly improve. talked to your mom on Fri and she's trying to figure out how to send you message : ) I hope I helped her!!! I miss you a ton and can't wait to catch up in person!!!

Sorry that some of you are under the weather, but it sounds like it was a good mellow day in the end.
