Guangxi Museum Day

Florie had a great night last night----11 hours of sleep :)  The boys did better, except for my lil' man....but hopefully that will change tonight.  She woke up in a great mood and ate a good breakfast.  Some of the pics below are at the Marriott breakfast. She loves for the boys to walk around with her. The only problem we have is that she only has two hands instead of three!
we went to the Guangxi Provincial Museum today and learned a lot about the 12 minorities in Guangxi.  It was pretty fascinating. I think the boys learned a lot.....then we went with our guide to lunch and finally had a great meal....for all of us!  We all took short naps this afternoon....Florie really hard a hard time before nap.....calling for her ayi....but she wanted william to hold her, and fell asleep on him.  it is so hard to watch her, but we are so thankful she was so well loved.  The Beihai orphanage/Half the Sky does an amazing job!
Right now it has been raining hard for about 6 hours.  William has Alex and jack swimming, and Ben stayed here to play with Florie.  She has been laughing hysterically at him as he is copying her. She is talking to him!  She is also feeding him cheerios...blowing on them first in case they are hot.  She is making every noise he makes.  It is so sweet to watch. I have it on our video camera...just have to figure out how to put it on here!
Our guide just called..she has all of Florie's paperwork/passports for us in the lobby...so I have to run!

Woo Hoo!
Love,
Eve

Sounds like she is doing well. The photos are great. You might find that showing Florie the photos of her ayi is not so traumatic. Both Maggie and Corinne liked having access to the photos whenever they felt the need to gaze at that familiar face. I will say once or twice Maggie got very teary looking at the photos, but it was just emotion she was already holding in. For the majority of the time the photos brought her happiness. Good for ya'll on taking naps and glad you had a good meal. We would love to hear from the boys. Tell them they need to post. We would also like to hear Williams thoughts. How much do you think she weighs? What size clothes/shoes does she wear?

11 hours of sleep plus Passport in the lobby!!! yea!! So incredible to follow along, thank you for taking the time to post.

One of my best memories of 2010 was you calling me in August and sharing your journey toward adoption. It happened to be my birthday. Now you are about to bring her home.

Praying for all of you.
