The Boys are Off...

On Saturday, we took the boys to meet my Mom.  She is keeping all three of them for a few days.  They were excited to go, although my youngest Jack was a bit nervous.  He seems to have overcome his fear now.  Today they did a zip line across a lake, fished (Ben caught a 7 inch fish!), and fed horses.  There is no telling what my Mom has in store for them tomorrow.  They ate Frosted Flakes, grilled hot dogs, fruit, and butter pasta today. I am not sure they will ever want to come home :)

Bye Mom, Dad and Florie!

Florie also was able to meet my grandad (her GREAT grandad!) on the day we dropped the boys off.  We had a great lunch at Cracker Barrel while we visited and took a few pictures.  It was wonderful to see him!  He will be 94 in 2 months and still works everyday!

My fav

Getting to know each other

We are really blessed to have all four grandparents for our children to know, and also one great grandparent.  Florie has met all of them at this point :)

She also is enjoying "playing" with her longer hair.  She wants a ponytail like I wear most days, but her hair is not quite there yet.  So we came up with this:

She was very pleased.

Thankful for family today!

Love,
Eve

Your kids are indeed lucky. I had one grandparent still alive when I was born and she was 70. Thank God I had her for almost 15 years because I just adored her. It's such a special relationship. I love the bench photos.
